Design Notes
Built for the way you actually live outside.
At 15 by 30 feet, The Cove is generous enough for real swimming and calm enough to sit at the center of a dining terrace. Proportions are drawn to align with typical lanai openings, so the water reads as an extension of the house rather than an object in the yard.
Standard 15′ × 30′ profile
A true rectangle with steps entering the shallow end. The floor slopes from 4 feet at the shallow end to 6 feet at the deep end.
Swim-forward proportions
15 by 30 feet gives a true lap line while keeping the deck generous on all sides.
Entertaining geometry
Squared corners and a wide coping band accommodate dining, lounging, and circulation without crowding.
Designer waterline tile
Chosen from ceramic, glass, or natural stone — each catches light differently and makes the water read deeper than its finish alone.
Deck-ready edges
The coping is set to finish flush with whatever deck surface you choose, so the transition reads as one plane. Decking itself is scoped separately.
Turnkey
Everything included. Nothing to source yourself.
The Signature price covers the pool complete — engineering, permitting, construction, finishes, equipment, and handover. You choose the materials; there are no allowances to fill in and no trades for you to hire.
Stage OneDesign & SelectionsBefore we break ground
Design & Material Selections
A guided session to choose your interior finish, waterline tile in ceramic, glass, or natural stone, and coping stone from our curated palette. Every option is priced within the Signature package, so the selection is yours without a change order.
Engineering
Structural drawings and soils review for your specific lot, prepared and stamped before anything is scheduled.
Building Permit
Submittal, plan check, and permit issuance handled entirely by us — including revisions if the jurisdiction requests them.
Stage TwoConstruction & FinishesThe pool itself
Professional Construction
Layout, excavation, steel, plumbing, and shell — executed by our own crews to the engineered drawings.
Stone Coping
Natural stone cut and set around the entire perimeter, framing the water and finishing the deck edge.
Designer Waterline Tile
Ceramic, glass, or natural stone from our curated selections, set at the waterline once the shell has cured.
Premium Finish
Your choice of stone, tile, or ecoFINISH applied as the final interior surface.
Stage ThreeEquipment & HandoverCommissioned and explained
Variable-Speed Pump
Efficient, whisper-quiet circulation, balanced to the pool’s exact volume.
Filtration System
Sized to turn over the full volume of the pool and installed with the equipment set.
Salt Cell
Every Signature pool is saltwater. The cell generates sanitizer on site, for water that is softer on skin, eyes, and swimwear.
Three Low-Voltage LED Lights
Three colored low-voltage fixtures set and aimed to light the full length of the pool after dark.
Seven-Day Startup & Orientation
We establish water chemistry and maintain the pool through its first seven days, at no cost — then walk you through running it yourself.
Manufacturer & Workmanship Warranty
Equipment protection from the manufacturers plus our own workmanship guarantee, registered at handover.
Project Management — throughout
A single point of contact from engineering through orientation, coordinating every trade, delivery, and inspection on your behalf.
Refine it further.
Decking, a spa, fire feature, Baja shelf, heater, or Pentair equipment automation can all be integrated into The Cove during design. Deck material and square footage vary by property, so we scope and price each addition transparently in your consultation.
The pool complete: engineering, permitting, construction, stone coping, designer waterline tile, your chosen interior finish, the full equipment set — variable-speed pump, filtration, salt cell, and three low-voltage LED lights — plus a seven-day startup and both warranties. Project management runs throughout. There are no allowances to fill in later and no trades for you to hire separately.
Because the design is already drawn. The excavation, steel, plumbing, equipment, and material quantities for The Cove are known before we ever visit your property, so the cost is known too. Custom projects carry allowances precisely because those quantities are still unsettled when the contract is signed.
No. Deck material and square footage vary widely from property to property, so decking is scoped and priced with you during design rather than packaged into the Signature price. Travertine is our most requested surface and we are glad to quote it alongside the pool.
A Signature pool skips the drawing, revising, and re-pricing that custom work requires. You are choosing a resolved design — proportions, geometry, and equipment already specified and built before — and personalizing its materials, rather than starting from a blank site plan.
The 15 by 30 footprint is what makes the fixed price possible, so it stays as drawn. If your property or your plans call for different proportions, that becomes a custom project and we are happy to discuss it — or one of the other two Signature designs may suit the space better.
Yes. A guided selections session covers your interior finish — stone, tile, or ecoFINISH — along with your waterline tile in ceramic, glass, or natural stone, and your coping stone. Every option in the curated palette is priced within the Signature package, so choosing does not trigger a change order.
Every Signature pool is saltwater. A salt cell is installed as standard and generates sanitizer on site, which most owners find noticeably softer on skin, eyes, and swimwear than traditional chlorine.
The Cove is a true 15 by 30 foot rectangle with steps entering the shallow end. The floor slopes from 4 feet at the shallow end to 6 feet at the deep end — deep enough to feel like a real swimming pool, shallow enough to stand and talk across most of it.
Yes. A spa, fire feature, Baja shelf, heater, chiller, automatic cover, outdoor kitchen, landscape design, or Pentair equipment automation can all be integrated during design. Each is quoted transparently so you see its effect on the total before committing to it.
We establish water chemistry and maintain the pool through its first seven days at no cost. At the end of that week we walk you through operating every system yourself, and register your manufacturer and workmanship warranties.
Both are included. We prepare and stamp structural drawings for your specific lot, then handle submittal, plan check, and permit issuance — including any revisions the jurisdiction requests. You are not filing anything.
A conversation about your property, how you intend to use the pool, and where it wants to sit. We confirm The Cove fits the site, walk through selections and any enhancements you are considering, and give you a complete written price before you commit to anything.
